As I said in another video, I really wish they reused the train. I do have a theory that they were going to do so in the remakes, but it was scrapped for some reason, and Porter was remade into a villager. Nintendo could not figure how to use it for Nintendo WFC, or something… They should eventually reuse the train.
Apparently, Champ can only be obtained through hacking the game in Animal Crossing: Wild World… I assume they were going to have the train in the remakes, but it was scrapped due to the fact that Nintendo WFC could not make any sense to use with the train… I assume. I wish we could hear the train music again in a remake.
